Board of Directors
CUMFI is governed by a board of directors.
According to CUMFI’s governing act, the size of the CUMFI Board of Directors can consist of up to a maximum of twenty (20) officials, based on the total amount of members registered during an election year.
The staff and volunteers recruited by CUMFI possess a high degree of integrity, professionalism and a passion to work with urban Aboriginal peoples. All staff must hold the minimum requirements and qualifications to conduct their role and responsibilities.

CUMFI provides vital supports for the disenfranchised and vulnerable populations while also providing affordable living for those in need. CUMFI’s focus has always been and continues to be on women, children and families. Additionally, CUMFI provides cultural guidance and supports to a plethora of organizations and businesses in the community. Its partnerships with both the Catholic and Public- School boards are integral in the teaching and learning of Metis and First Nation Culture and history.
